-1 can of SCD legal coconut milk
*Green Curry Paste is a legal. Please see HERE for a list of ingredients. And according to THIS site, turmeric is a SCD legal spice.
I love how healthy this soup is... My son is anti-veg right now but he will eat veg soup. Please share this on my foodie friday linky today. I pinned it too.
ReplyDeleteHow fab. This would use up a lot of vegetables and get me out of a bind when my next veggie order is on its way yet there's not that much room in the fridge. Thanks for coming by and sharing it at Whole Food Wednesdays.
ReplyDeleteHi France,
My pleasure. I'm trying to get my soup recipes published...it's getting HOT in these parts! :-)
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie. I just love that curry paste! It's my favorite. See you next week...

Yum- looks delish! Love the addition of the green curry- I have been making mine with a little more of my homemade curry spice, but should switch it up.
Thanks for sharing!
This looks terrific. Can't wait to try it. I've got a cauliflower in the fridge right now but it's earmarked for another dish. The next cauliflower is already designated for your yummy soup.
ReplyDeleteI've made this three times now and it gets better each time! Very delish....thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Nicole, for the feedback. I always love to hear about how recipe are working out for others. This is also one of my favorite soups!
Be Well,

Word of warning: Those on the SCD can't have that green curry paste or the turmeric, which is a starch. :(
ReplyDeleteNot necessarily.
The green curry past does NOT contain anything illegal. See here: http://www.amazon.com/Thai-Kitchen-Green-Curry-4-Ounce/dp/B003VYH8AM (the ingredients are as follows: Green Chili, Garlic, Lemongrass, Galangal (Thai Ginger), Salt, Onion, Pepper, Coriander, Cumin, Kaffir Lime). All legal.
And Turmeric is an excellent anti-inflammatory. And according to this link, it's a legal spice: http://www.austinscdfriends.com/articles/article/3691416/53827.htm
How much coconut milk? You don't have it listed in the ingredients.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Ah, thank you. My apologies for that oversight. I've made the changes.
DeleteMuch appreciated.
