hi Amber! I tried posting a reply to the cocoa and shea butter recipe…but ti wouldnt let me, says i didnt copy paste the correct pasword…. im just gonna copy paste my post to you here then =) thank u again sooo much! i should ahve taken pictures of the results but they happened so fast i didnt have time.
WOW!!!! I just made some of this but a tiny bit differnet. I used
12 ounces raw african shea butter
2 TBL Kukui nut oil (mountain rose)
2 TBL Calendula oil w vitamin E (Humboldt herbals)
pulse the shea a few times till it looks like coconut flakes, add the oils 1 tablespoon at a time and keep that puppy spinning untill you reach the fluffy texture of your dreams!!!
My partner has been suffering with eczema his whole life and this is the best cream he has ever used. We use it about 10 times a day because he just had a severe scratch attack the past few nites…. We even tried that Ebook “beateczema”…. needless to say, we are returning that today. The scaly skin has decreased by nearly 50% and the redness of inflamation has gone done about 80%!!! Of course he is drinking a ton of water, eating whole, organic, NON-GMO, foods that are local and with the seasons. taking probiotics and drinking immune system building teas & moisturizing, skin cell regenerative teas. but the cream is showing drastic results! thank you! simplicity is key <3
Thank you so much for your comment! Yay!!! I’m so happy to hear you have incorporated homemade lotion into your healing regimen. That’s so great. And so glad to hear your partner has seen such improvements. I love the oils you used. Great stuff. Thanks again for your comment. Be Well.

Will do. My apologies for this late response!
I recently got a new email and have not been getting updates from you. How can I change my email address?
Hi Kathy. Thanks for checking in. The easiest way to subscribe is through the feedburner. HERE is the link. Thanks and take care.
Love the recipies thank you. I am still having issues replacing eggs in some of my baking.
We have to avoid:
Beef
Clams
Codfish
Corn
Egg
Garlic
Mustard
Oranges
Peas
Peanuts
Potato
Rice
Shrimp
Soy
Tomato
Tuna
Walnut
Wheat
Yeast
Stone fruit
When using flax or chia gel everything comes out sticky flat and globby
Bummer! What a long list of things you have to avoid. My advice is to experiment as much as you can. You often have to rely on your own research and experimentation with so many restrictions. Good luck! Happy Holidays.
I just wish experimenting was free… My kids are usually good about any flops but damn its alot of effort and $ going into each dish.
Oh I totally hear you! I’m 12 years into my journey and there are so many things I have not perfected. It’s so frustrating! Have you tried psyllium husk as an egg replacer? This is a good article from Gluten-Free Girl and the Chef which discusses baking without eggs. I like all the feedback in the comments.
